Day 1 and 2
So far my comittee, the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, has been a little disapointing. We seem to be at a standstill, having discussed the same issue for a day and a half, and we still have yet to adopt a report. Resolutions are passed, but that really doesn't say much about our body since out pricinple purpose is to form a report. The delegates are a bit crazy, and people believe that Niger and Nigeria are the same country. We're not! Despite all of this, I'm having a great time in Chicago. I'm meeting new people, crazy as they may be, and I'm learning a lot about the processes here at AMUN. All in all, it's been an interesting experience so far and I'm anticipating the days to come will be equally interesting.
